Materials described by the seller

The listing describes a hand-poured coconut-soy wax blend and a cotton wick in a whelk shell. It calls the exterior finish “Midnight Storm,” with deep blue, black and frosted-white tones, and says the shell is cleaned, treated and hand-finished.

These are the seller’s descriptions, not a material test. The photographs show an orange-toned opening, a visible wick and a translucent-looking fill; appearance alone cannot establish the wax composition. Confirm the materials of the exact candle if they affect your choice.

Original candle photographs

Both images below came from this exact listing. The stones and surrounding display are visible props; the listing does not establish that they are included in the purchase.

Shell candle with an orange-toned opening, visible white wick and translucent-looking fill, surrounded by stones
Opening view: the wick and fill are visible inside the shell. Ask which photographed candle you will receive and what support it needs. This arrangement is not a demonstration of a suitable place to burn it.

Exterior angle: dark and pale areas frame the orange opening. The photograph shows the surface appearance, but cannot establish the coating, repair history or collection origin.

Size, scent and care details to confirm

The reviewed listing does not specify full dimensions, wax weight, a named scent or a measured burn time. Ask for width, depth and height in the intended resting position, plus any required holder or tray. Do not estimate size from the stones in the photographs.

Before lighting, obtain and follow the seller’s use and care instructions, including the required support, placement and burn limits. Our dimension checker can compare physical space once measurements are known; it does not assess candle-burning safety.

I’m interested in candle listing 4532598531. Is the pictured candle the one I would receive? Please confirm its dimensions, wax blend, wick, scent or fragrance-free status, and any chips or repairs. What holder or tray and use instructions are supplied, and are any display props included?

Choosing it as a gift

For a gift, confirm the recipient’s scent preference and check delivery timing, packaging and current return terms on Etsy. The listing name is the seller’s identification; it does not independently document species or collection history.
